From frontline clinical roles to national health program strategy, my career has been a journey dedicated to strengthening Malaysia’s healthcare system.

I began my career as a Clinical Pharmacist, working alongside doctors, nurses, and dietitians to provide direct patient care. This hands-on experience, particularly in specialized fields like parenteral nutrition and nuclear medicine, gave me a deep appreciation for the power of multidisciplinary teamwork. It also provided a robust foundation for my transition into primary care management, where I focused on optimizing workflows and enhancing integrated care models in community settings.

Currently, as a Project Lead at ProtectHealth Corporation, I apply these on-the-ground insights to a more strategic level. I’m involved in designing and implementing national health initiatives that expand access to quality healthcare for underserved populations. My work involves the strategic purchasing of healthcare services, drawing on my diverse experience to foster effective collaboration and partnerships across the system. This path, from individual patient care to systemic innovation, reflects my commitment to creating a more accessible and integrated healthcare future for Malaysia.
