Dr. Asnida obtained her Doctor of Medicine from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1999 and completed her Master of Public Health (Family Health) at the University of Malaya in 2010. She was gazetted as a Public Health Medicine Specialist in 2011.She has over 13 years of experience in public health, with a focus on strengthening Malaysia’s primary health care system. Since 2010, she has served in the Primary Health Care Section of the Family Health Development Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia. From 2010 to 2020, she was involved in national ICT initiatives, including the implementation of the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system in government health clinics. Since 2021, she has led the Clinical and Technical Support Sector, overseeing policy development, standards, and integration of services at the primary health care level. She plays a key role in enhancing allied health services at the primary health care level, ensuring they are effectively integrated into the primary health care framework.
