Dr. Hazwan currently leads Life Sciences at MRANTI’s Ecosystem Division, where he drives the advancement and commercialisation of Malaysian innovations across healthtech, biotech, and agritech areas. With MRANTI, an agency under MOSTI Malaysia mandated to accelerate local technology commercialisation, Dr. Hazwan leverages his experience as former Program Director for Digital Healthcare Cluster at CREST Malaysia (overseeing initiatives like I-Connect Health & Wellness) and founding Program Manager for the CREST Prototyping Grant. He holds a PhD in Engineering (Electronics) from the University of Cambridge and an MEng (Electrical) with first-class honors from the University of Sheffield, UK.
