Dr. Patsy Ng Pei Sze currently serves as a Manager of Strategic Planning and Innovation at Premier Integrated Labs (PIL), where she plays a key role in driving digital pathology transformation and fostering collaborations across academia, government, and industry. Currently, she is managing a research study funded by the TUBITAK-MIGHT Collaboration 2.0 grant and the liaison for other research and trial studies with external collaborators.

Patsy holds a Ph.D. in Cancer Genetics from the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, where her research focused on the role of PALB2 gene variants in breast cancer and characterisation of tumours from PALB2 carriers. She earned her Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biomedical Science with First Class Honours from Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Before her current role, she spent nearly a decade at Cancer Research Malaysia as a Senior Research Associate and Postdoctoral Scientist. There, she led numerous studies on breast cancer genomics, contributed to landmark publications in high-impact journals. Her work has provided vital insights into inherited cancer risk and tumour biology in Asian populations to ensure Asians are not left out in global breast cancer research.

Her earlier professional experience includes key roles in clinical laboratory operations at Prince Court Medical Centre and Assunta Hospital, where she led histopathology services and contributed to quality assurance and digital transformation initiatives.

Dr. Patsy Ng is also a certified Good Clinical Practice (GCP) professional and has received multiple awards for scientific presentations. She is recognized for her ability to bridge scientific research and clinical application, making impactful contributions to both public health research and medical laboratory innovation.
